Our 9 step recruitment process for permanent staff ensures that the best possible staff can be matched to the unique needs of your business. 
 

1. RECRUITMENT STRATEGY DESIGN

Our Consultants will take the time to meet with you personally to discuss a Recruitment Strategy, which will be designed to address your specific requirements within a time frame that meets your needs.

2. JOB DESCRIPTIONS

We will obtain a full job description and skills analysis from you, or if one is not readily available, we can design the said job description and skills analysis to ensure that there is a complete understanding of the position and expectations.

3. DATABASE SEARCH

A thorough database search is undertaken to source candidates from our pre-registered list who match your job description and have the skills required.
 

4. ADVERTISING

In addition, we will write an ad designed specifically to attract the candidates who match your job description and possess the necessary skills. Brooks Personnel job advertisements are placed on our website's ‘Permanent Job Vacancies' page and placed on seek.com.

5. INTERVIEWS

We conduct face-to-face interviews, using Behavioural Interviewing techniques to ensure that candidates fit the position description and also have the skills necessary to meet the predefined job description.

6. REFERENCE CHECKING

Thorough reference checks are conducted with immediate supervisors or managers. We ask all referees specific questions that relate to the position the candidate is applying for, as well as general questions on work habits and history, skills, ethics and attitude, etc.

As part of our background checks we are also able to confirm the validity of the candidate's qualifications through "Qualcheck", and where appropriate conduct criminal history checks with the express permission of the candidate.
 

7. INTERVIEW REPORTS

In addition to the candidate's resume, you also will be provided with a written report for all short-listed candidates. This document will give further insight into the person's suitability to the role and amongst other things will outline their qualifications, skills, test results, employment summary, reason for leaving, availability, and salary expectations.

8. SUCCESSFUL & UNSUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

After completion of the interviews, Brook Personnel will take the time to advise all candidates of the results of the job application and interview process and give feedback where appropriate.

9. FOLLOW-UP SERVICE

Remember though, the end is only just the beginning. Upon successful placement of the candidate, we will continue to monitor their progress with regular follow-up phone calls to both you and your new team member.
